Scope and Contents Materials donated by Barry H. Rodrigue (primarily of USM) of personal experience interviews he conducted (with Irina Petranek and Natasha X, two Russian translators) with Aslambek Apaev. Apaev had sought asylum and was staying with Rodrigue when the interviews were conducted. Apaev was a Chechyan and in 1988-1989 he had been a fighter and in 1994 he was a human rights worker.
