A notebook and newspaper clippings collected by a teacher in East Machias, Maine and San Rafael, California. The notebook contains a record of primary school no. 4 [place unknown], from January 4, 1871 to July 14, 1871. The notebook also contains newspaper clippings of local and religious news and poetry pasted in and recipes.

The Bennett collection covers the career of a physics professor and department head from his student work at Brown University through his retirement from the University of Maine. Included are correspondence, articles, publications, manuscripts, teaching materials, department materials and student items.

The record group contains items documenting Charles Colesworthy's years as a student at the Maine State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. It also contains a few items from his time as a student at Portland High School.

The collection contains personal correspondence from the 1920s through the 1960s reflecting Day's literary interests, efforts to publish his work and his activities in various social organizations. Client files from his career in insurance are also found in the collection.

Includes family photographs, letters, documents, and autographs of some noted personalities. Also includes genealogy of Delano and Hartwell families.

This collection reflects the history of the School of Nursing at Eastern Maine General Hospital/Eastern Maine Medical Center from its beginning. Included are photographs, yearbooks, scrapbooks, correspondence, artifacts, etc. concerning the School of Nursing and its alumni. Rules, curricula, administrative papers, student progress reports and early corporate records are also included.

Raymond Henry Fogler was a businessman and alumnus of the University of Maine. The University's library was named in his honor in 1962, becoming the largest library in Maine and serving as a foundation for intellectual pursuits at the university. Included in the collection are letters, correspondence, photographs, and memorabilia, spanning from his early life in South Hope, Maine, through his education, business career, and naval career, as well as personal photographs and mementos.

The collection contains personal papers of Bill Geagan, an author, columnist, illustrator and naturalist from Bangor, Maine.

Papers contain correspondence, columns, comic strips, manuscripts of his writings, radio scripts, recordings, newsclips, photographs, and Gibbons family memorabilia.

The collection contains the personal papers of Harriet P. Henry, Maine's first woman judge. They reflect her many civic activities as well as her expertise in the areas of marine law and the environment.

The papers cover M. Eleanor Jackson's years as a student on the University of Maine Orono campus from 1916-1920. Included are scrapbooks containing photographs of campus scenes and buildings, programs, and other items as well as material on Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Materials were collected and compiled by Peter Kellman with regard, primarily, to the strike at the International Paper Mill in Jay, Maine. Other materials include the Simplex Lockout, the Madison Project, and the Millinocket Project.

Collection includes catalogues, price lists, brochures, and advertising.

Handwritten journal by a member of the Peary Relief Expedition to Northwestern Greenland on ship Diana, summer of 1899. The first entry is dated Sunday, July 23, 1899. Included also is a small carved animal.

The folders mainly contain textual material, particularly; correspondence, memorandums, press releases, and reports. But there are some books, photographs and artifacts such as plaques, banners, and a medal and media such as cassette, video, and radio tapes, film and Compact Discs.

A group of 19th century letters collected by Katerine C. Owen for publication in Dear Sue (1976) and Dear Capt. Fess (1977). Also included are other generalized and family documents, and the service records of Mrs. Owen's husband, Albert S. Owen, M.D.
