Photographic prints

A photograph album belonging to L. W. Taylor, a member of the class of 1883 at the Maine State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts (now the University of Maine).

Included are manuscripts of writings, publications, pamphlets, reprints, and photos.

Notes on portraits and photographs of presidents, trustees, faculty, alumni and friends of the University of Maine compiled by Gannett, the registrar of the university from 1913-1953.

The military papers pertain to Vasquez's career in the regular Army from 1946 to 1948. He was assigned to the occupation of Korea following World War II. The collection includes letters, military documents, and photographs of Korea.

Collection contains material by and about Ralph Whittier. Included is a travel diary, correspondence, eulogies, biographical sketches, etc. Photographs of Wheatland family members and activities as well as of other friends of Ralph Whittier are also found in the collection.

Collection of materials concerning the construction of the Panama Canal. Includes blueprints, photographs, reports, and other materials concerning the Isthmian Canal Commission. Includes a copy of the deed to the canal.

The collection consists primarily of published articles gathered by Richard G. Woodbridge to inform his scientific work.

This photograph collection contains a number of glass negatives of photographs of Brewer, Maine around the turn of the century. Also present are a few later photographs taken in the 1950's.
