Farmer's Record Book
Consists of a number of recipes recorded in French, and several more in English; also contains names and addresses of people in Maine and New England, in both languages.
Mrs. John H. Jarvis Book of Recipes
A book with handwritten recipes and newspaper clippings pasted in. The recipes include traditional recipes and some for agriculture and medicine. Included also are an index of the recipes and lists of historical events and births and deaths of eminent persons. Written inside front cover: This book bought in 1835. Recipes copied into it by John H. Jarvis in 1877.
Charley Miller Papers
The collection contains the papers of Charley Miller of Bangor, Maine, an outdoorsman, Maine guide, fight conditioner, and outdoor cook. Included are photographs, celebrity endorsements, 16 mm films, and news articles documenting his work as a Maine guide, outdoorsman and outdoor cook.

Collection includes a notebook of dye recipes and tanning procedures for leather with some samples of leather pasted in. Also includes a statistical summary for an unidentified company dated 1926 and three letters to White, 1944 and 1947, concerning orders for dyes and chemicals.
