The Maine Women Veterans Oral History Project collected oral interviews with women veterans through a collaborative effort of the Maine commission on women veterans, the Maine Studies program at UMaine, and the Women Studies program at UMaine. Includes WWII, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.
Women's Clubs Clippings Scrapbook
A scrapbook of newspaper clippings, 1937-1940, from an unknown compiler detailing activities of women's clubs in the state of Maine especially in the Bangor area. Most of the clippings concern the Maine Federation of Women's Clubs and the Woman's Club of Orono with a few clippings about the Neeurban Club, the Bangor Woman's Club and the Norumbega Club among others.

Frederick A. Wood Papers
Business papers of Frederick A. Wood of the village of East Lebanon, Maine. Very little information is available about Mr. Wood, but from materials in the collection it appears that he was in the lumber business, dealing in wood, especially cedar, cut near Caribou and New Sweden, Maine.

The collection consists primarily of published articles gathered by Richard G. Woodbridge to inform his scientific work.

Woodsum Family Papers
Collection contains papers of various members of the Woodsum family, especially William Woodsum, his son William Woodsum, Jr., and William's son Nathaniel B. Woodsum of Saco and Peru, Maine. A folder of papers of the Demeritt family and documents from the Free Will Baptist Church in Peru, Maine, are also found in the collection.
Work Log (1848-1850)
A volume maintained by an unidentified person in Westbrook, Maine, detailing days of work performed by various individuals and their pay. Only a few entries describe the kinds of work done, such as sawing wood, mending chains, repairing irons for wagons, etc.

Includes copies of Bulletins from Britain (no. 32, week ending April 9, 1941-no. 111, week ending Oct. 14, 1942), Facts in Review issued by the German Library of Information (v. 2 no. 16, April 15, 1940-v.3 no. 20, June 7, 1941), War in Pictures (Jan. 1941-April 1942), and other periodicals.

Wyman P. Gerry Photograph Collection

Yarmouth Electric Company Records (Central Maine Power Company Collection)
Financial records of a local electric utility in Maine. Included are a cash book (Apr.-Aug. 1921), an operating journal (Mar. 1921-Aug. 1921), and a ledger (Apr.-July 1921).
Emily Yate Class Project
Created as a project for a class at Old Town High School, Old Town, Maine. "A Church in Time" includes text; two CD-ROMs with script, history and photographs; and transcription of script.
Arthur Yeaton Correspondence
Love letters, 1896-1897, between Arthur Yeaton and Ella Sylvester while Ella was a medical student in Philadelphia. Some of the letters were sent to Yeaton in Rochester, N.H. Ella Sylvester was living in Philadelphia and in Lisbon Falls, Maine, during the time the letters were sent.
