Surgeon Albion Cobb Diary
Transcription of a diary of an assistant surgeon written during his service with the 4th Maine Volunteers during the Civil War. The dates of his diary are from 26 May 1863 to 14 June 1864. The diary was transcribed by Richard F. Potter of Woodstock, Connecticut in July 1996, and he also included information about other events and people during Albion Cobb's service. Included are photocopies of short biographies of Brigadier General John H. H. Ward and of Major General David Bell Birney.
Clinton Llewellyn Cole Papers
The collection contains material from Clinton Cole's years as a student at the University of Maine, including diaries from 1898 and 1899, memorabilia from his social activities at the university, lecture notes and photographs. The bulk of the collection is made up of Cole's scrapbooks and individual illustrations from newspapers and magazines of a variety of ships. Also included is an index to these illustrations by Robin Tarbell.
Colwell Family Papers

It contains correspondence, job-related documents, photographs, subject files, and publications relating to Corydon Cronk's long and varied career in forestry. Included are speeches, reports, notes, memos, meeting notices, and conference programs. Also included are early records of the More, Mitchell, Millard, and Smith families.

Shirley Cudlipp Five Year Diary
A diary kept by Shirley Cudlipp in 1936. From the entries it appears that Cudlipp was a teenager whose father was in the military. Most entries concentrate on Cudlipp's social life and activities. Some of the entries were written on board a ship while Cudlipp was traveling to Panama and then on to San Francisco, Hawaii, Guam and Manila.
Ruth I. Curran Diaries
Five diaries covering the years 1976-1979 and 1982 of a widow living in Bangor, Maine. Included in the diaries are descriptions of the weather and temperature each day, records of how much money she spent, her activities with Earle and her other friends and relatives, what she ate at home and at what restaurants she and Earle ate. Receipts for purchases which were kept in the diaries were removed and placed in separate folders.

Ellis Davis' diaries date from 1908, 1911-1912, 1914-1915. A few of the diaries list their residence as Woodstock or South Woodstock, Maine. Entries outline daily activities, family events, and community happenings.

Diaries (1946-1951)
Diaries kept in 1946 and 1951 by an unidentified pilot or pilots flying in northern Maine and in the Bangor, Maine area. The diary from 1946 has entries from January 1-12 only in which the pilot describes flying in the vicinity of Jo Mary Lake and around Mt. Katahdin as well as tending beaver traps, picking up mail, etc. The diary for 1951 has much shorter entries and outlines the pilot's work in the area of Bangor and Brewer, Maine.

A daily diary for 1910-1911 of an unidentified person, probably a woman living in the Houlton, Maine, area. Entries outline the weather of the day, the woman's daily household chores, visits to neighbors and friends, and social activities such as attending plays, concerts, movies, etc.

Diary of a housewife, possibly living in Maine. Entries record work done by George as a laborer and as a farmer, observations on the weather, trips to the village, household tasks, visitors.
