A 30 minute radio program he recorded January 10, but which aired on WMEB-FM January 14, 1970, titled "Music from the South: Tradition and Innovation," which traces the history of country-western bluegrass and rock and roll from black and white folk roots.

NA2569 By Frederick Seyford, April, 1999. One reel of tape containing dub of a radio program titled “Ballads, Blues and Breakdowns” hosted and prepared by Seyford, broadcast on WMRA, Harrisonburg, VA ca. 1980s. Program is an overview of traditional fiddling styles in North America using material gleaned from LPs and archival recordings. Some of the fiddlers include Eck Robertson, Gaither Carlton, John Carson, Mike Seeger, Emmett Lundy, Leonard Rutherford, Bunt Stephens, Elmer Barton, Clayton McMichen, Al Murphy, Dennis McGee and Sady Courville, Milton Brown, Vassar Clements, Michael Coleman, Edwin Johnson, Josef [Pizzio?] (Ukrainian), Reuben [Sarkizian?] (Armenian), and J. P. Fraley. RESTRICTED
