Scrapbook from University of Maine alumna Norman S. Davis (AKA "Froggy" Davis). The scrapbook contains programs, clippings, and memorabilia regarding the campus life that Norman was associated with, including athletic events, classes and grades, student guides, photographs of campus buildings and Maine Methodist Church Sermons and licenses from later life.

Also, includes facsimile of 1923 Prism for Davis, printout of DistantCousin.com entry for Davis, and facsimile of an obituary for Davis' wife Mona M. Davis.

Biographical / Historical

Norman S. Davis from Dover-Foxcroft Maine attended the University of Maine (1922-1925) and was a member of the Class of 1925, although his report card lists him as the Class of 1926. While a student Norman lived on campus residence halls and was a member of the University of Maine Track and Field team. Norman later went on to complete his license with the Maine Methodist Church in March 1926 and was a local preacher. He then went on to be a pastor of the Riverdale Congregational Church in Dedham, Massachusetts.
