Biographical / Historical

Agnes Masse Plummer was born in South China, Maine, June 26, 1906 and died Jan. 16, 1989. She was a graduate of Coburn Classical Institute, Waterville, and the University of Maine at Orono, with a BS degree in home economics. She was a member of Chi Omega while at the University. She was employed as a home demonstration agent for the University of Maine Extension Service for eight years. She was a state house management supervisor, a food education specialist for the USDA Office of Distribution, and executive secretary of the State Nutrition Committee.
