Biographical Note

Abijah Usher was associated with John Lane in the lumber business in Bonny Eagle, Maine. He also had a small store at Bonny Eagle, selling groceries, and rum. He was a Colonel of the Militia, a representative to the legislature in 1811 and 1822, and a senator in 1829 and 1830.
