Biographical Note

Herbert Joseph Edwards (1900 Dec. 21-1988 Jan. 19) taught at the University of Maine in the English Department from 1947 to 1965 after teaching 17 years at the University of Ohio. He authored many articles for Down East Magazine and published a biography of James A. Herne.
