Biographical Note
Born in Lynn, Mass., graduated from Lynn English High School, Brownfield, Maine. Lived in Brownfield, Maine. A newspaper columnist and poet, belonged to the National League of American Pen Women. She was recognized by the National Freedoms Foundation with the Washington Medal five times. Was also a teacher. Author of the poem, "I Am An American."
