Biographical / Historical
Lawrence Carroll Allin, cooperating assistant professor of history at the University of Maine at Orono, was born in 1932 in Independence, Missouri. He received his B.A. in 1954 from the University of the Pacific, his M.A. in Russian studies in 1968 at Syracuse University, and his Ph.D. in history in 1976 at the University of Maine at Orono.
