Biographical Note
Sylvia Tibbetts was born in Dexter, Maine, on Sept. 2,1902. She graduated from the University of Maine in 1926, majoring in mathematics. She married George Dunkley in 1928 and they operated Dunkan Beach in Windham, N.H. until the mid-1960s. Sylvia Dunkley died on Aug. 8, 1990.
