First Baptist Church (Palermo, Me.) Records
Scope and Contents
Records of meetings of the First Baptist Church of Palermo, Maine, from 1801-1911. Most of the records are copies of the originals made by Allen Goodwin, a local historian in Palermo and clerk of the church for many years. The collection also contains a history of the church presumably written by Goodwin. Also included is a volume of meeting minutes, 1872-1900, of the North Meetinghouse Association in Palermo and membership lists and minutes of meetings, 1894-1899, of the North Palermo Baptist Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor.
