Biographical Note

Thought to be Elizabeth H. Wilson, born about 1845. Her father, William was a farmer but was deceased at the time of this diary. No mention is made of her mother, but she is also thought to be deceased. Wilson still lives on the farm but relies on workers and friends to help with planting, harvesting, and other chores related to the farm. She also notes in her diary that she is often unwell and lonely. (from https://www.ancestrylibrary.com; accessed 6/7/2022)
