Biographical Note

Arthur B. Richardson was a University of Maine student who went on to work for the Chesebrough-Pond's Co. The company sent him to Russia, where he and his wife were living at the time of the Russian Revolution. They were forced to flee, and went to China, then later to England, where they lived for several years.
