Biographical Note
Sanford Phippen, resident of Orono, Maine and Hancock, Maine, was born in White Plains, N.Y. in 1942. He received a B.A. in English in 1964 from the University of Maine in Orono and an M.A. from Syracuse University in 1971. He taught high school in New Hartford, N.Y., Syracuse, N.Y., and Orono, Maine. He also taught at the University of Maine, Orono. Vita in box 1566 folder 25
