C. V. Haskell Letter
Scope and Contents Note
Addressed to "My dear brother," the letter is both a humorous one teasing Haskell's brother about his involvement with girls in Belfast, Maine, and a description of Haskell's duties as a soldier. He describes tending store and writing reports instead of "soldiering" and tells his brother that he too should enlist. The last page of the letter, written in a different hand, describes materials needed for construction of an unidentified office.
