Historical Note
The Bangor Stone Ware Company was established in 1880 by Anders Persson in Bangor, Maine. It manufactured stone and fancy pressed ware as well as serving as a distributor for Rockingham, yellowware, stone and earthenware made by various other companies. Bangor Stone Ware operated until about 1917.
