Papers of a resident of Somerville, Massachusetts. Included are 20 letters to Andrew, 2 Christmas cards, a Valentine's card, and an invitation to an informal dancing party. Three of the letters are from his future wife Bunny and some are from his girl and boy friends whom he seems to have met at a camp in Ballard Vale, Massachusetts.

Biographical Note

Andrew A. Magnus was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Nov. 14, 1893. He was working for H.E. Ackerman, a shoe store in Boston in 1920. In August of that year he spent his vacation in Rockland, Maine. He married Bernice (Bunny) P. Brown, and he is listed in the 1930 Federal U.S. census as living in Arlington, Massachusetts, with his wife and daughter Ilene C. who was born around 1929.
