An account book belonging to Edward Bourne of Readfield, Maine. Included are records from 1823 to 1849 of charges for plowing, hauling materials such as stone, cider and wood, and moving cattle. Some of the records are for Jedediah Bourne who may have been Edward's brother.

Biographical Note
Edward Bourne, a resident of Readfield, Maine, was born in Massachusetts and died on Nov. 30, 1862 at the age of 68 years 3 months. Jedediah Bourne, also a resident of Readfield and also born in Massachusetts, died on May 18, 1881 at the age of 77 years 9 months. Possibly Edward and Jedediah were brothers.
