Abstract
The autobiography of a hunter, guide, and farmer in Maine. Included are a photocopy of the original autobiography and two copies of a photocopy of a transcript of the autobiography.
Custodial History
The xerox copy of the manuscript was made from the original loaned to Professor Edward Ives by Mrs. Alice Bacon, Wesley, Maine, in 1962. Miss Jane Kazutow was initially responsible for getting the manuscript. The xerox of the original is in the Fogler Library. In the spring of 1969 Miss Diane Johnson made a typescript for the Northeast Folklore Archives. The original typescript is in the Northeast Folklore Archives, and a duplicate (xerox) is in the Fogler Library.
