Biographical Note
Paul C. Ware of W. Gardiner, Maine was a plumber for 33 years. In the summer of 1956 he took a job as a fire spotter for the Maine Forest Service at #5 Mountain in Franklin County in the Jackman area. In subsequent summers he was a fire spotter on Kibby Mountain (1957), Snow Mountain (1958 and 1959), and Mt. Pisgah (1960)
