Biographical Note

Noah Brooks was born 1830 Oct. 30 in Castine, Me., and died 1903 Aug. 16 in Pasadena, Calif. He worked in the newspaper business in various capacities and was a writer of children's books, along with historical and biographical works, including Tales of the Maine Coast.
