Biographical Note

William Vasquez was born in Portland in 1927. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II and in Korea 1946-48 as a sergeant. He graduated in 1955 from Harvard, and attended Yale graduate school. He taught at Narraguagus High School and Washington Academy, and was reporter and photographer for the Bangor Daily News. He died in 1991.
