Biographical Note

Beverly Hallam was born in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1924. She graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston in 1945. She was the Head of the Art Department at Lasell Junior College from 1945-1949. She returned to the Massachusetts College of Art in 1949 as an instructor. She came to Ogunquit, Maine in 1962. She is a painter and printmaker whose primary media is monotypes. Hallam has been exhibited extensively and her works are in many art collections.
