Bangor Waterfront Revitalization Collection
This collection consists of two interviews conducted by Pauleena MacDougall in November and December 2008 about the development of the Bangor waterfront. John M. Rohman was the CEO of WBRC, a firm of architects and engineers. Rodney McKay was Director of Community and Economic Development for the city of Bangor. Included in the collection is a copy of the Bangor Waterfront Master Plan and a Powerpoint presentation about Maine’s creative economy.
Brooklin Boat Building Collection

Eastern Fine Pulp and Paper Company
Pauleena MacDougall, then Associate Director of the Maine Folklife Center, and Amy Stevens, then graduate student in history, conducted a series of oral history interviews and collecting photographs and documents relating to the history and culture of Eastern Fine Paper in Brewer, Maine. The mill closed in January, 2003 after operating as a paper and/or lumber mill for more than a century.

Folk Traditions Festival Collection
The event was ponsored by the Maine Folklife Center, the first annual Folk Traditions Festival was held November 6-7, 1998 at the University of Maine in Orono. The festival featured musicians and dancers from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Some examples of the music performed were Cape Breton fiddle music and song selections in English and Gaelic are played with talking interspersed throughout.

Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA)
This collection contains interviews with people associated with the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) and the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine. Themes include the process of beginning to farm organically, the early development of MOFGA and its growth; the Common Ground Fair and its expansion; marketing organic food; farming strategies; raising livestock; and MOFGA’s interactions with conventional farmers and the wider community.

Native American Folklore
This collection consists of research papers written for ANT 490 and ANT 426 Native American Folklore, both of these courses are taught by Pauleena MacDougall at the University of Maine in Orono during the fall of 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2010. Topics covered in the papers included: Wabanaki spirit guides, basket making, creation myths involving Gluskap, Passamaquoddy stories for children, Wabanaki medicinal plants and traditional healers, and Passamaquoddy Wampum Records.
